Questo esame riflette gli obiettivi del corso “Técnicas Numéricas para el Cálculo y Diseño en Arquitectura. Diseño Paramétrico”. L’elaborato rappresenta un iniziale avvicinamento all’architettura digitale parametrica e ai suoi aspetti. Abbiamo iniziato selezionando un edificio preesistente, identificandone le caratteristiche principali. Successivamente, abbiamo invertito il processo, individuando i parametri che consideravamo essenziali per creare una struttura di nodi più efficiente e renderla, secondo la nostra valutazione, parametrica. Tale approccio ci ha consentito di spiegare le ragioni delle nostre scelte, evidenziando il processo di trasformazione e ottimizzazione della struttura.

In this exam, the objective of the course “Numerical Techniques for Calculation and Design in Architecture. Parametric Design.” is evident. The project is, in fact, the result of an initial exploration of parametric digital architecture and its aspects. We started with an existing building, extracting its main characteristics. Subsequently, we reversed the process by identifying what we considered the fundamental parameters. We then created a more efficient node structure, according to our judgment, to make the building parametric. Additionally, we explained the reasons behind our choices, highlighting the process of transforming and optimizing the structure.
