LIVING CERAMICS AWARD

The Living Architecture Chair at the Polytechnic University of Valencia organizes an annual competition aimed at developing architectural drawings that explore artistic expression through the use of specific industrial products. The competition emphasizes the importance of architecture in design, construction, and the improvement of the human environment.
In its third edition, the Living Sketch Competition focused on two-dimensional drawings or graphic works that showcased the potential of at least one product from the Living Ceramics collections. During my study period in Spain, I collaborated with a colleague, who also supported me with bureaucratic and language-related matters. Together, we presented three out of the six proposed designs, earning us third prize and a special mention.
I was relatively satisfied with the outcome, as the competition primarily involved graphic work, allowing me to explore new techniques, deepen my understanding of competition dynamics, and further develop my artistic and technical skills in the field of architectural drawing.
